Process
|
An undertaking that grew to epic proportions, the process of making Monkey & Sardine was filled with creative ingenuity, endless patience, wild enthusiasm, and exhaustion, as we built the film frame by frame.
There are numerous stories to tell and photos from behind the scenes that will be added to this page in the not to distant future. The Set Here is an annotated photo of the first set we built for the animation. The scale of each set only got bigger and more elaborate from here onward, until the final under water scene took up the entire room. |

Screenings
Monkey & Sardine was launched at the sold out Martin Martini Funeral gig at The Corner Hotel to a crowd of over 800 people. Exhibitions We followed up the screening with an exhibition at the Kent St gallery space, displaying all the props, models, sets and other paraphernalia created for the animation. Below are a teaser trailer and poster I made to promote the exhibition. |
